In autumn, when the sun shines with golden light, Belgium reveals its best side. Dreamy towns, rolling hills and colourful forests make the small Benelux state a feast for the eyes at this time of year. The same sensations can also be enjoyed in Basile de Wulf’s five-course apple-based autumn menu. Aged just 27, the award-winning chef has already gained a great deal of experience in international kitchens, which can be discerned in each of his dishes.
His menu includes delicately flavoured dishes, accompanied by a Belgian chocolate brownie as an autumn dessert. Basile De Wulf’s creations are simple and can even be made by less experienced cooks with excellent results.
